GLO TEETH WHITENING

GLO Teeth Whitening is a process that was developed by a company called GLO Science. It makes use of heat and light to intensify the whitening process, and according to its manufacturer, it’s five times more effective than any other teeth whitening treatment.

It requires that you use the teeth whitening device for 32 minutes each day, and for five days in a row. While this may be somewhat awkward to fit into your schedule, you should consider the upside of completing the program.
Many users have found that this teeth whitening system is the most effective they have ever tried.
  • Paying for the device itself can be fairly costly, but if your dentist owns the device, you can receive treatments right there in the office.
  • There is no question that this teeth whitening procedure is much more effective than using whitening strips at home.

There is also a tube of gel which is required for the process, and this needs to be applied to your teeth.
In each session of GLO Teeth Whitening, you will be required to go through the process for 32 minutes total, with the overall session being broken down into four individual sessions of eight minutes each.
  • After ensuring that your GLO Control has been fully charged, you will have to place a lanyard with that control over your neck.
  • Then you will attach the mouthpiece and apply a layer of GLO Lip Care to both lips.
  • After that, you will squeeze the gel onto a brush tip applicator, so that a thin layer can be applied to your bottom and top front teeth.
  • Then you simply turn on the GLO Control and put the mouthpiece in your mouth.
You’ll need to complete each of the four eight-minute sessions daily for five consecutive days. After this time frame is up, you should have much whiter teeth than you did a week ago.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Q: What is the active ingredient in GLO Teeth Whitening gel?

A: The ingredient which actually accomplishes most of the whitening action is hydrogen peroxide, although there are several other ingredients in the formula as well

Q: How long does this gel last at home?

A: Under normal circumstances, you can expect GLO Teeth Whitening gel to last for up to 24 months at home, assuming it is not exposed to extremes of heat, cold, or humidity.

Q: Do I have to brush my teeth before using GLO?

A: Yes, it is recommended that you brush and floss just like you normally would, before using GLO. You should also make a point of keeping all of your regularly scheduled 6-month maintenance appointments with Dr. Maitri Patel.

Q: How do I apply the GLO gel?

A: A small amount should be squeezed onto the brush tip applicator you are provided with. Then you should brush a thin layer of the gel on the tops and bottoms of your teeth, but only the external surfaces.

Q: Should I do all four applications at once, or should they be spaced out during the day?

A: For best results, you should do all four applications consecutively, otherwise it will probably take longer to achieve the level of whitening that you desire.

Q: Am I supposed to bite down on the GLO mouthpiece while it’s in my mouth?

A: Yes, you should bite down gently on it, but don’t use much pressure. Light pressure will enable the light and heat to surround your teeth and effectively do their job.
